Tarpon time

Report Date: March 28, 2011

Tarpon fishing picked up nicely as we finished the month of March up. Water temps are around 76 and bonefishing has been good as well.

Doug Wooley with his first bone on fly, a big one!

As the temps warm up we are starting to see bones on the back of stingrays which make for a great target.

Shark fishing for lemons and blacktip spinners continues to be strong as well.

Nice lemon shark almost to the boat.

The channels are putting out bigger jack crevalles than in winter and we should see the start of yellow jacks showing soon. We caught a few pompano the middle of March but not enough to count on.
